The Nebraska Sustainable Agriculture Society’s annual Healthy Farms conference starts this Friday. The conference is a two day event held at the Cornhusker Hotel in our hometown of Lincoln, NE. This conference has been hosted by the NSAS for over 40 years!
Attending this event is a great way to engage and learn about sustainable agriculture and local food happening right here in Nebraska.
“There are over 20 breakout sessions aimed at equipping farmers, foodies, and advocates with the skills and knowledge they need to be successful. The conference also features several keynote sessions meant to inspire and motivate people to action, and show how what they are doing and why they are doing it does make a difference.”
As an exhibitor, Big Red Worm’s will be available throughout the day to answer your composting, sustainable living, and zero waste questions. We are also looking forward to presentations on urban agriculture, soil health, permaculture, soil health, cover crops, hops production in Nebraska, and exploring new ideas in sustainable farming.
We hope to see you there!
