That’s why we convert over 390 tons of food and 800 tons of animal waste into rich living compost each year with the assistance of Eisena fetida (Red Wigglers) worms.
We also educate others about how they can incorporate more sustainable practices into their everyday lives. We offer composting classes for students and adults at our location along with tutorials, DIY equipment, and summaries of our research experiments on our website. Classes are offered quarterly, with some being offered through Community Crops.
